SWOP Sacramento will have a fundraising booth at Sacramento Pride on June 6, 2015 on the Capitol Mall. There we will we will be selling items and seeking donations for our upcoming project The Haven. The Haven will be the first drop in center for sex workers by sex workers in Sacramento area. We believe that the therapeutic value of one sex worker helping another sex worker is with out parallel. Too often all funding goes to criminalization rather than any funding trickling down to those who are in need. Our organization is run by sex workers and retired sex workers who understand the terrain and are best equipped to help those engaged in survival sex or those being trafficked.

Some of the items we will be selling will be fabulous crystal necklaces, earrings and other jewelry, candles, hand painted teacups, t-shirts, wrist bands, magnets, and buttons. All donations are tax deductible.

Come visit us and find out how you too can help or how we can help you. We will be taking sign ups for our up coming Intern training, and for our Sex Work Advocacy Training Modules. This training is invaluable f you are a service provider serving the sex worker population.

Many of our members are part of the LGBT community and SWOP Sacramento wants to support you in any way we can. If you are a sex worker and would like information on our up coming events, and services come visit our booth.

All gender identities and expressions are welcome.
